Marine Traffic

Awhile ago I wrote a review, which ironically, I couldnt send because the app had crashed. "The latest version is excellent. Finally it opens in the last location I was in. Thats a big improvement. I live near the water and I love this app!"

But now I want to add two caveats. Its great EXCEPT that several times a week, it slows down to the point of non-responsiveness. Thats irritating but probably costly to fix. However, the other issue I have should be free. Every once in a while something gets updated...and the entire "previous ports of call" database gets zeroed out. That removes a lot of Marine Traffics usefulness, and it takes weeks before a new history starts to build up. Please, when you upgrade, could you import the previous history too? Or, if its the source databases you draw from that are the problem, could you just add in the information from your last backup? It would make a good app even better!
